Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SudsConnect collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains information for the SudsConnect marketing suite, public offer links, SMS workflows, reporting tools, and related services.

1. Who We Are

SudsConnect is a marketing suite for businesses. The application helps authorized business teams manage customer visibility, SMS campaigns and automations, coupon offers, reviews, AI-assisted reports, and paid ad reporting.

When a business provides customer information to SudsConnect, SudsConnect generally processes that information on behalf of that business. If you are a customer of a participating business, that business may also have its own privacy practices.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account and business information, such as authorized user names, email addresses, roles, business names, business contact details, locations, addresses, and account settings.
  • Authentication and security information, such as password hashes, access sessions, refresh tokens stored in an HTTP-only cookie, email verification tokens, password reset tokens, and security or error logs.
  • Customer information provided by participating businesses or their systems, such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, external customer IDs, membership status, visit and redemption counts, last visit and redemption dates, customer status, segments, source system details, and industry-specific customer or asset information such as vehicle details when supplied.
  • Public offer and coupon information, such as phone number, optional name or email, selected business location, campaign, SMS opt-in status, coupon request and claim activity, barcode view activity, redemption status, coupon code metadata, landing page, referrer, and UTM campaign parameters.
  • SMS and communication information, such as outbound and inbound message content, phone numbers, delivery status, provider message IDs, Twilio callback details, STOP or START style opt-in and opt-out events, and related consent records.
  • Review information, such as rating, optional comment, related business location, coupon, campaign, customer, and whether a review alert has been viewed or dismissed by the business team.
  • External review information, such as configured Google review links, publicly available or authorized aggregate rating and review counts, review snippets, reviewer display names, review timestamps, source location, and third-party review status messages when available.
  • Advertising and reporting information, such as Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads, and Yelp campaign or account IDs, campaign names, display names, access or refresh credentials, encrypted credential payloads where configured, token expiration metadata, impressions, clicks, spend, conversions, and manually entered Yelp reporting metrics.
  • Technical information, such as browser type, device or network metadata available through normal web requests, theme preference stored in local browser storage, diagnostics, and usage events needed to operate and secure the service.

3. How We Use Information

  • To provide, maintain, secure, and improve SudsConnect and related public offer pages.
  • To authenticate users, manage sessions, verify email addresses, process password resets, and enforce business-level access controls.
  • To import, organize, search, and display customer records, memberships, vehicle records, segments, visits, coupon activity, and reviews for authorized business users.
  • To send requested coupon links, campaign messages, reminders, and operational SMS through configured messaging providers, and to honor opt-in and opt-out signals.
  • To assign coupon codes, display barcodes, record claim, view, redemption, and review events, and support public coupon and review experiences.
  • To display linked external review sources and combine authorized or publicly available aggregate review totals with internal review reporting when configured.
  • To connect and report on authorized ad accounts, campaigns, and metrics from Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads, and Yelp.
  • To prepare dashboards, analytics, and AI-assisted reports for participating businesses.
  • To detect, prevent, and investigate abuse, service errors, unauthorized access, and security incidents.
  • To comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and respond to valid legal requests.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to operate SudsConnect, support participating businesses, comply with law, or complete actions requested by users or businesses.

  • With the participating business that owns or manages the relevant customer, campaign, coupon, review, location, or account data.
  • With service providers that help host, store, secure, send, analyze, or support the service, including cloud infrastructure, database, queue, email, SMS, and monitoring providers.
  • With messaging providers such as Twilio to send SMS messages, receive inbound replies, and process delivery or opt-out callbacks.
  • With third-party review platforms when authorized users open configured external review links or when SudsConnect requests configured public or authorized review data sources.
  • With advertising platforms such as Google, Meta/Facebook, and Yelp when an authorized business connects or enters campaign reporting data for those platforms.
  • With professional advisors, legal authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary for compliance, legal process, safety, fraud prevention, enforcement, or a business transaction such as a merger, financing, or asset transfer.

5. SMS Consent and Opt-Out

If you provide your phone number and opt in to receive SMS messages, you authorize the participating business and SudsConnect service providers to send messages related to the offer, campaign, reminder, or customer relationship. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing texts is not required to buy goods or services.

You can opt out of SMS marketing by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, QUIT, STOPALL, REVOKE, OPTOUT, or CANCEL. You may opt back in by replying START or UNSTOP where supported. SudsConnect records opt-in and opt-out events so future messaging can honor your choice.

6. Cookies and Browser Storage

SudsConnect uses an HTTP-only refresh token cookie for authenticated sessions. The web app may also store limited preferences, such as theme mode, in local browser storage. We do not use these storage mechanisms to sell personal information.

7. Data Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including HTTPS in production, access controls, hashed passwords, protected session handling, provider webhook validation, and secret or encryption controls for sensitive integration credentials where configured. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we work to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide SudsConnect, support participating businesses, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Public coupon pages may expire or stop displaying coupon details, but the underlying business, customer, consent, coupon, message, analytics, and audit records may be retained for legitimate business, security, reporting, and legal purposes.

Authorized business users may request account deletion, customer data deletion, or other privacy assistance by contacting SudsConnect. Customers of participating businesses may also contact the relevant business directly. We may retain limited information when necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, or backup integrity.

9. Your Privacy Choices

  • You can opt out of SMS marketing using the STOP-style keywords described above.
  • Authorized business users can update certain account and business information in the application or through onboarding support.
  • Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection regarding personal information.
  • We do not sell personal information. If applicable law treats certain disclosures as a sale or sharing, you may contact us to request opt-out assistance.

10. Children

SudsConnect is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to SudsConnect, please contact us so we can review and respond.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice through the service or other reasonable means.
